For over 20 years, Melinda Hinson has been helping companies develop profitable growth strategies, from Fortune 500 corporations to start-ups, with significant experience in health and wellness, mobile telecom, technology and consumer goods. As an executive strategist, her areas of expertise include brand strategy and positioning, workshop facilitation, research, messaging and content strategy.
Melinda received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill and MBA from the College of William & Mary. She served as an adjunct professor at Seattle University where she taught business communications and marketing.
A health advocate, her hobbies include marathons, mountain biking, tennis and snow skiing. She has published three books to help others live a healthier lifestyle, including Heart and Sole, Eat In Not Out and Finding Life’s Secret Sauce. Eat In Not Out reached #1 on Amazon.com in the Cookbook and Nutrition categories and was also selected by Barnes & Noble as a “Compelling Read From Authors You Need to Know.” She maintains a blog with healthy living tips.
She is currently on the board of UNC-Gillings Global School of Public Health, Girls on the Run and Anser Charter School.
